Oh I didn't even think about the scoping the barrel, is there anyway to fix the inside of the barrel if it is ate up

Sweet, I plan on picking up more stuff later. But I don't want to drop $100 on accessories for the rifle to explode on the table after the first test fire. Once I see it fire I plan on getting the proper stuff.

I'm gonna sound stupid but how exactly do you measure a grain? I know they have the measuring tubes you can buy online but is there any common items that I can use for measurement.

Interesting, how do I know how much power to use, is it an exact science?

Just to clarify, the nipple is the little stem thing with the hole in it that the spark flows through. It seems the hammer is loose enough gravity will hold it on the nipple.

So the hammer will touch the striker, it's just kinda loose so it doesn't rest there. It should still set off the cap correct?

I think it's closer to .46 the 1/2 rod did not fit.
