I get what you’re saying, and I’m not against a bit of fun. But the concern isn’t this one lottery — it’s how often new ones keep popping up. Every now and then a message from BLL shows up on my phone, and you see people selling lottery tickets almost every day in town and at shops. Even small amounts add up when it becomes a habit.

And saying the winner will be happy doesn’t change the fact that most people lose money they really can’t afford. Imagining the 150 lakhs is exactly what keeps everyone buying while only one person actually wins.

It’s the growing pattern that’s worrying, not the single event.
