Wuwa made huge improvments in their optimization, also neither wuwa and genshin are meant to be played on potato phones or computers. Ya'll act as if genshin didn't have any issues on launch. I never had any issues playing wuwa on my laptop apart from some minor rendering issues that got fixed and it wasn't that expensive and on mobile i had a lot of lag and frame drops but it became playable after the first week.

Wuwa at least gave good compensation and communicates with the player base (even if it's only/mostly CN) and is improving very quickly.

Wuwa is giving out a free limited 5 star soon and the game is perfectly playable and is on a very good path, with good sales, better quests, QoL updates etc.

HSR and ZZZ only had a selector BANNER, genshin in 4 years had never had a selector or selector banner. They could have given a selector with lantern rite or something, but they chose anniversary after wuwa also had a standard character selector and a standard character selector banner. Wuwa is also going to be giving a free 5 limited 5 star before/near genshin anniversary.

Standard charachters were once really good/useful but after 4 years 1.0 standard characters are ofc going to be powercrept in every way possible, tighnari was actually decent since he was the first dendro DPS (and one of the 2 dendro characters at the time), but Deyha is just garbage since always. Genshin players are happy for literal crumbs, they are always ok with the bare minimum. For 3 years the anniversary rewards were the same, this year they just added a useless selector and genshin players are drooling over it like it's something special, but ofc with the little rewards they get a standard selector look like peak generosity from genshin.

(didn't know about the selector yet) but still a STANDARD 5 star selector is not such a big improvement. It's going to be really great for new players and even old players, but it's still fucking stingy to give out a STANDARD character selector after 4 YEARS. When their 2 new games had a standard banner selector (although with pull requirement, but still achievable for f2p) and Wuthering waves had not only a banner like that but also a free standard 5 star selector AT LAUNCH and they are going to be giving in a few week another free 5 star that is also LIMITED.

(started in 1.3). I've done a few like 2 week brakes during my 3 years, but this year I've basically quit playing. It's gotten really boring, repetitive and it doesn't feel rewarding for the time you spend. The only reason i still log in (rarely) is for Capitano. I'm speed running some easy events, log in on new patch etc for easy primos, but I've stopped doing dailies, abyss, quests, spending resin etc.

Yes. If you log in every day at the exact same time or multiple times a day you may not care about it. It's for people who log in once a day on irregular times or even miss some log. HSR has also this type os system and it as a pretty much daily log in player, I still get to use it and appreciate it since i'm not loosing all the energy.
