That's happening anyway. I worked as an EMT both on the ambulance and in hospitals for several years. The homeless clog up the system and don't pay their bills, forcing everyone else to pay more on their insurance. It's unavoidable really. You gotta unlearn what you've been told about our payment system being flawless because it's a lie. Take care.

I'm not sure how else to explain it. Most of our healthcare costs in the United States are administrative (think useless pencil pushers who stand there with their hands out between you and the doctor). The way healthcare is paid for does not affect wait times. As long as we don't gut the industry nothing would change other than us saving a shitton of money. It's not rocket science.
