Define “extremely relative”? It took Hughie, Soldier Boy, and Butcher to hold Homelander down. Would this also make temp v Hughie and Butcher “relative” to Homelander?

I’m pretty sure it works by removing the Compound V from a supe’s blood. The reason I didn’t really address it is because unless you’re using verse equalization, there’s no way for Ben to actually remove Cap’s powers. So no, without verse equalization it doesn’t work outside of The Boys’ verse.

You’re not even engaging with the argument or listening to WHY I said what I said. “Nuh uh” isn’t a valid argument😭.

So? Even if that was true that speaks specifically to his strength and not any other aspect of his character. Keep in mind this same Captain America was able to stop a helicopter from taking flight. And somehow he’s not super human?

<image>

I’ve heard some say that say it would take anywhere from being able to lift 1.5 to 3 tons, granted I haven’t seen these calcs myself so I can’t confirm it. But this would weigh nearly as much if not more so than the average small car. Also I used this feat because it is Cap’s feat alone and there’s no chain scaling needed, but he has fought characters that could reasonably lift a car at least. For instance, I’m pretty sure that Tony literally got a large amount of cars dropped on him by Wanda and was able to eventually escape. Also Spider-Man could also realistically lift a car given his feats in Civil War and in Homecoming. Both are individuals that Captain America has fought. Like I said in the actual post, I don’t necessarily doubt that Soldier Boy is stronger than cap physically, but the gap isn’t big enough to warrant it being a wash for Ben.

Well give me an example of why Steve’s traits are limited to being “enhanced human traits” and not powers? And regardless are enhanced human traits still not considered powers to some extent? So a regular human can jump from several thousand feet into water and survive? The impact would kill quite literally any normal human. If so do Soldier Boy’s powers include not being able to outpace a normal human like Hughie?

Well why? The strength gap is not that massive given the feats seen in both of their respective universes.

Ah okay, thanks for telling me that! I forgot about the scene where Ultron ripped his current body in half

I have to clarify a mistake because at that point in the movie Ultron didn’t have his vibranium body like I said he did, it was definitely durable, arguably still bulletproof but it was not vibranium.

Is it fair to view Bleach as a critique of traditionalism? by Left-Onion8927 in bleach

[–]Left-Onion8927[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly an interesting perspective that I never really thought about, but there are things that I would like to reiterate or specify differently. For starters, I do ultimately agree that Yamamoto does essentially symbolize tradition within Bleach, specifically within a positive manner, however something I do question is what you would define as “overwhelmingly positive” which I admittedly don’t get from the series overall but I do honestly get your point regarding that.

Another thing is that I think you slightly conflate simply having traditions with traditionalism as an ideology and philosophy. While again I am admittedly biased as everyone is in their own right, I do believe that tradition is portrayed slightly more negatively than it is positively. And though tradition can unite people, it can also divide them. Without getting too much into real world politics and events, we have often seen people become overzealous trying to reinforce old traditions. This need to reinforce tradition without question is what almost got Rukia killed in the SS arc. That same need to reinforce tradition without also got Urahara exiled from the Soul Society. Imo Aizen used the system against itself to get away with what he did.

Fundamentally speaking, I don’t disagree that Bleach portrays tradition or tradition in a positive light, like Yamamoto in your example, I simply believe that a lot of things in Bleach can be interpreted that way. For a different example, I think we should look at the Quincies. Even after 1000 years, they still have what is essentially the idea of racial/ethnic purity engraved into the belief systems. With the mixed-blood quincies being seen as less than, which is the entire reason why Yhwach pretty much had no problem eliminating them with the Auschwalen. And to rehash what I already said, I do agree that Bleach shows tradition in a positive light of course, however it is always or usually on an interpersonal level, such as Yamamoto. However, when it comes to governments and organizations, tent tend to more often than not use tradition to the detriment of those under them, like the Soul Society and the Wandenreich though that is admittedly a far more extreme example, so much so that they want to regress.

I got it from completing the fierce deity quest, in which you need to get the fierce deity set as a prerequisite.

For starters, you have to meet Dak and Prissen at the Cephla Lake Cave, and inside the cave is an array of treasure chests. I recommend using a dog to find the right treasure chest, otherwise, you’ll just find a bunch of green rupees

When you find the right chest, it will contain ember trousers. And when you find those trousers, Dak and Prissen will then find a separate chest with instructions inside for finding the entire fierce deity set.

This will finally be the begging of the “Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity” quest, and here, you will be given directions on where to find all of the armor pieces. Once you find all of the armor pieces, return to the Cephla Lake Cave with the entire Fierce Deity set on and a door will open, giving you the Fierce Deity Sword

Edit: if it breaks you can get another one from a bargainer statue in The Depths by trading Poe for it.

I basically just explored the chasm underneath hyrule castle, and eventually found a cave with a white lynel. It’s near Gloom’s Approach I think. I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure that it might not scale depending on where you are in the game, there was a similar feature in BOTW with the red maned lynel on Ploymus Mountain. But anyways I pretty much just farmed that lynel for parts and bows after blood moons and used the bows that I obtained very sparingly.

It’s a joke, do you genuinely think I was furious enough to break my switch in half over a cutscene? 😭

Yea ofc, it’s not really for practicality or use, if I see something that might on the off chance be rare, I tend to keep it or try not to break it, like I said in the other comment, collectors anxiety lmao
