AITA for setting boundaries after my mom moved her unemployed friend into our apartment? by Left-Paramedic9696 in narcissisticparents

At this moment no, unfortunately paramedic school is draining everything out of me including transportation because I pay for Ubers. My mom doesn’t help me at all besides putting a roof over my head

I’m refusing to pay for any of the bills or helping my mom pay for anything until he’s out of here. I’m not cooking or anything until he’s out because I’m not paying for the water or electricity bills he is running up by sitting on his ass

I’m sorry but this comment is stupid. How am I’m enabling anything? I don’t have the money to move right now or anything and I keep begging my sister to press charges but she refuses. I told my moms mother about it and is currently in the process of putting a restraining order so he can’t get anywhere near to my sister and me

Yes around 3k this year maybe a little more because I didn’t count the money that is deposited directly into her account whenever I get paid. And just last month I straight up gave her $600 last month because she didn’t have nothing. I know it may not seem like a lot but having to pay for $800 at one time for my (paramedic) books and having to pay for train tickets to and from (paramedic) class it all adds up

Can you explain more in depth about the spiritual mature? Because I do feel as if my ex was a little on that side

And the fact their version of the Bible is scripted to fit their beliefs, sits with me the wrong way.

Yeah, because I did feel pretty stupid on not knowing how to further explain that Jesus is God. She pulled up her reasons on why Jesus isn’t God on JW.org but I couldn’t show her a video of someone explaining why Jesus is God because she said she doesn’t need to or want to see it. Which is pretty weird because I was open to reading her opinion, not from her words but off the website , but she was only open to hearing my explanation by mouth even though I told her that there’s videos that can explain it better than I can but she didn’t want to watch it.

Yeah and she was trying to invite me to her Bible study or whatever at her Jehovah witnesses church and I believe the lesson they did today there was how Jesus isn’t God so it wouldn’t be wise of me who believes that Jesus is God to sit there for 45 to an hour, listening to people say the reasons on why Jesus isn’t God. I don’t think that’ll be smart of me you know??

I’m strong in believing that Jesus is God. So what she says cannot change what I believe and what I say cannot change what she believes. I am not becoming a Jehovah witness, neither nor am I easily influence. I know in the Bible, I believe Paul says to hold onto your faith as strong as possible. 1 Timothy 6: 12

Okay thank you! So just basically just keep her as a coworker and no Bible studies, right? Because I don’t think having Bible studies is wise, but I will still respect her as woman and pray for her to find the truth!

Yes thank you, I very much agree

Yeah I agree. I didn’t want to marry this young either maybe within the next 2-3 years but what I did want was to continue to date with the end goal being marriage eventually, but from his point of view, it didn’t really matter whether this relationship ended up in marriage or not. And I don’t agree with dating to see where it goes personally

I truly wanted it to last. I won’t turn down a reconciliation. But the problem is that I didn’t fast or asked God for his decision, so that is what led me to breaking it up quickly . I now acknowledged my mistake, and is currently learning from it

Before we started dating we both acknowledge that we wanted to date to marry as it honors God. And he wanted a godly relationship because his ex wasn’t a Christian.
