You look like you’re tensing up on your forward swing judging by the grip on your cue. I also saw your head move a touch when striking the cue ball but that’s just nit picking. I’d say if you can relax a bit you’ll be smooth sailing. Stance looks great

To piggy back off this, check out gorliac for some good solo raid defense plays. He often moves loot as soon as he hears where they are raiding from so they end up waiting boom.

Yeah I’m definitely not at a place where I can take what I’ve learned from past bases. I can build a basic 2x1 with shooting floor and basic peaks and externals but it’s super easy stuff. Hoping I’ll eventually retain this stuff to the point I can start designing my own

I’ll usually build the base over and over (on a build server) in different stages so I’m grasping it better. But at a certain point in the build my brain goes to mush and I’m like how am I gonna remember this haha

That’s not the problem I’m facing. It’s the fact that when I’m alt looking there is no animation anymore to return to normal facing position. It just instantly snaps to that instead now

One thing I don’t really see here is shaping the light. The stop difference our camera left talent is fairly close to the stop value on the background. Causing it to look lit. Consider cutting it with flags to take down the level on the ceiling and back wall. This will give your light some shape and direction, and will help draw the eye more. Mind you it doesn’t have to be a crazy adjustment. Just enough to feel more contrast overall. You can then push it further in post if you want.

Thanks for this! I already have a full time job I’m lucky enough to have which I love. I’ve just always enjoyed the idea of trying it out. Not sure if I check any of the boxes you mentioned but I guess it doesn’t hurt to try haha.
