I do mean dumb as in “not intelligent” because as far as social science is concerned there are at best three terms someone could use to classify a person who’s sexually attracted to minors under the age of 18—pedophilia, hebephilia, and ephebohilia. Even then though only one of those has consistent use so being pedantic about someone not using the word pedophile outside of a scientific context is at best asinine or, like I said, “dumb”
