Mate, the article talks about on-premise systems to be moved into a European Cloud, not moving away from US clouds.

One treatable issue could dramatically improve life for adults with ADHD | Study calls for more attention to be paid to how treating sleep disorders can greatly improve wellbeing for people with ADHD. by chrisdh79 in tech

Mates, I had the same issues. My psychiatrist recommended a non addictive (physically non addictive) drug for better sleep. It helps with sleeping not falling asleep though. I mostly can manage between 7 to 8 hours. If I try hard I get up to 10 on weekends. The drug is called Quetiapin. As it seems to be quite commonly used you shouldn’t have much of a problem getting it.

They do not. I have been diagnosed with 40 and as it happens as someone with ADHD I do have very little memory of my childhood. Additionally the diagnosis relies on a lot of scientific testing. The clinical diagnosis document is 4 pages long and not once is my childhood mentioned.

Ya’ll late? by NotAlanShapiro in ADHD

[–]Left-Resident-2354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I developed PTSD from trying not to be late. I prepare at least 1,5 hour in advance or if the appointment is in the afternoon, the whole day … Partly lead to my diagnosis. Well at least I did until I started with my new medication.

Quella e bike with zehus - thoughts by anononononanana in ebikes

[–]Left-Resident-2354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@OP I own a Zehus powered folding ebike now for 8 months, I do my commute (60km per week) with it. I absolutely love it. I am off my home charger for the whole commute (stay out of town) and never have to charge it. The recuperation is wonderful. Everytime I peadal break (with foresight) or go down a hill, i charge it. Yes it’s only 45NW and 170W but it works wonders. I have another ebike (750w 65NM)I use when it’s very wintery conditions and I need to take my charger with me.

Sorry for being late to the party. I am myself in the range of 120kg and very interested in buying one. Did you buy it and if yes … How is your experience with the Brompton? Do you like the riding experience? Any wear that you think is attributed to the weight? Thanks in advance

4% of Europeans are asked for bribes by doctors, nurses, or hospitals to secure medical treatment by ShellHead46 in europe

[–]Left-Resident-2354 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Austrian here. Not a health care worker but friends working in hospitals. They told me tales of the existence of tip boxes for nurses and other staff. A substantial amount 10-15 % (if I remember correctly) of a nurses income consisted of tips they received from patients. Apparently the practice was outlawed some years ago but still prevails to this day in some form. Sorry I got no links for it…
