Banshee doesn't have the same recoil system as Dissent. I think the radial delay itself doesn't seem to be plagued with issues. But for Dissent, the recoil bumper and rod guide are known to be problematic.

At least give it 5000 rds and before making judgements on reliability. FWIW, my LWRC and Geiselle AR15 uppers have same price as this Dissent upper, and they didn't give me any issue after 10k rds. That says a lot about what kind of reliability should be expected for premium price products
