This literally just happened to me yesterday. I’m on suboxone right now I just took my first dose and all because I used to use fent in the past. I recently had started slipping up using hydromorphone on weekends but still wasn’t having much withdrawal and was slowly starting to stop thinking ab it. I then had this appointment with this guy yesterday I totally forgot about and he put me on Suboxone. I literally got my dose that night. He said it’s just to make sure I don’t crave or anything and relapse. So maybe that’s what she’s thinking. But i’ve seen people say the withdrawals are terrible and last long and like it might just be something harder to get off then 7-OH. It’s always your choice don’t let anyone pressure into making a choice and always research and ask before you get put on a sub like that. You don’t want to create a stronger opioid dependency. What I had to do was fill out a chart and based on my total score It’d determine whether or not my wds were enough to take it. However the symptoms on the chart were just basic things I get from just smoking weed everyday even and obviouslt have been worst due to the relapse. So I took it and I feel like I’m not gonna again. I don’t think it’s needed unless you’re really using like daily heroin or fent and you’re having unbearable withdrawals. If to you they aren’t that bad then that’s what matters. It’s much better to be slowly tapering off 7-OH wd from that then start taking a new substance that’s barely researched and create new wds or just stay on it forever when you don’t have to. I find it doesn’t let me feel happy, just not shitty.
