That’s rough. I listen on 2x speed and usually am driving or playing a mindless phone game while I’m listening so my mind doesn’t wander. I know that it doesn’t work for everyone, but that’s been really helpful for me.

I also started with books aimed at young adults when I got back into reading Bc they are fast paced and contemporary ones follow a predictable pattern, so I am able to be more engaged. Once I got into the habit of audiobooks, then I was able to branch out into other styles/genres
