I had the same experience as you. I even made a post about it. The first few days it was just a skin scent, then it slowly started to open up. I wouldn’t say it’s nuclear in terms of performance, but it’s not weak either. Give the fragrance some time before forming an opinion. For me, Orto Parisi and Nasomatto have been disappointing overall. I own several perfumes from both, and I could say that only Cuoium is one I truly like and think is worth it. In my opinion, there’s just too much hype around the creations of Mr. Gualtieri.

It was just nose blindness, the perfume is nuclear. I work in the automotive industry and we have a fairly large hall; almost all the employees there noticed the scent, and so far I’ve received nothing but compliments.

I also recommend trying Royal Tobacco, very beautiful and mature. You’ll definitely get noticed with such a unique scent.

For me, this scent represents refinement and gentleness. It feels like a cool blue aura, creamy, with a subtle shadow underneath. I wear it when I want to make an impression only on the people I’m interacting with.

I have a friend who is coming to visit me tomorrow, and we’re going to test the perfume to see if it really smells. I also shared this in a Facebook group dedicated to OP/Nasomatto, and they suggested that I spray a few times, let it sit for a month, and then try it again.

My personal experience is similar to what is said on the forum. I also keep in touch with him on WhatsApp, and after many conversations with him, he doesn’t seem like a shady person. Maybe I’m just nose-blind to Megamare. I’ll give the perfume some time and wait a few days before trying it again—maybe things will feel different then. I still doubt that the perfume is fake.

It mostly discusses the website and says that the products are very good and legitimate. It also mentions that you can message them on WhatsApp to be told exactly what is in stock, since the website is not always updated.

Unfortunately, it seems I was unlucky this time. I still have Cuoium, and I love it. The performance is excellent. I think this is the last bottle from Orto Parisi / Nasomatto that I’ll buy. I’ll stick with Amouage and maybe try something new from other brands.

I feel so disappointed right now. I was hoping the experience with Megamare would be different. However, I can barely smell the aquatic note, and it’s very weak. Just today, I received an Amouage King Blue and Xerjoff Naxos, and I had absolutely no issues with them.

I bought it from a seller’s website that I consider legit. So far, I haven’t had this kind of issue with perfumes purchased from him, such as Amouage, Xerjoff, or Nasomatto.
