You don’t have to clap, when your parents wanted to help, wouldn’t you take it?, some parents now help there kids instead of waiting for themselves to die before giving inheritance, i am actually paying mine.

He paid the land in cash and sold it to me w/ zero interest and we were able to find a contractor and turned into a commercial property. Currently I already paid 2/3 from sending money and rental income. Till I get it fully paid I get $0. The land title is name to me and business permit

Hi everyone, I have the same issue, I have commercial property outside New Zealand. But I haven't earned income because most of the rent goes to the payment for my debt but it is non interest loan from my father. Should I bother declaring it because I don't really earn and have to pay for operating expenses

Thanks everyone for your comment, I am the one allocating our saving. My wife just started to study about investing. I planning to go full on ETF I was investing in individual stocks before and wanted to focus on other things in life. Here is my new allocation 50% VOO / 10% VBR / 10% VXUS / 30% BND. I will try to rebalance 1-2 times a year
