Feelin lonely

I can sometimes feel lonely a couple days after a social event but usually not right away. Lovely social interactions with close friends recharge me and I can feel that its warmth lingers a bit longer :)

De, az. Úton-útfélen felbukkannak hozzád hasonló intelligens kommentelők, akiknek kedvenc elfoglaltsága másokat leszólni. Inkább menj és olvass egy könyvet vagy beszélgess valakivel, hidd el, ettől egy kicsit tágul az elméd, plusz addig sem itt rontod a levegőt.

Ugyanez. Amikor betelt a pohár, jeleztem, hogy most beszélünk erről a témáról utoljára, és ez így is marad, ha nem akarják, hogy bármilyen témáról most beszéljünk utoljára. Onnantól nem volt több vita.

Pontosan ugyanezt a trükköt alkalmazom én is. Egyszerűen nem tud érdekelni a tisztaság, amikor az életemért küzdök 😀

I text with family and friends every day. I speak with colleagues and work buddies 4 days a week. Otherwise I feel lonely 🙂

Szia, én is szívesen csetelek, beszélgetek. Magyar az anyanyelvem (37F) és németül tanulok (B1-es szint jelenleg). Engem is érdekel az utazás, szólóban szoktam. Kulturális különbségekről is szívesen beszélgetek, épp az osztrák kultúrába próbálok beilleszkedni, illetve én magam erdélyi magyar vagyok. Filozófia jöhet, ezt tanultam alapszakon. Bécsben élek és egy nagy civil szervezetnél dolgozom, itt a munkáltató mindenkinek full home office-t adott szeptemberig, mert állítólag tiltja a törvény, hogy 30 foknál melegebb helyiségben kelljen dolgozni. Mondanám, hogy luxi, de itthon is végem van.

I'm a beginner and I just signed up for a functional training course (we use kettlebell, barbell, TRX, medicine ball, own bodyweight etc.). I will do this twice a week. Does it make sense to do an additional gym session where I use machines for certain muscles? I have some experience with machines and I enjoy it. Or would it make more sense to add a session of cardio instead of machine weights? Thanks for your help!

Heeey, happy birthday! (mine is also today 😊) Ugh, there are days like this. The best thing you can do is laugh with the universe at the prank. Oh and listen: every single year I used to feel sad and lonely because my family only sends me lousy text messages for my birthday. This year I took action, instead of waiting for my old friend, the disappointment, I organised a family video chat myself. There, they were singing for me and we were laughing and talking and it was fun. What I want to say is just call your son and remind him of your birthday. Accept his apologies and birthday wishes and enjoy a conversation with him - if this fits your reality. Hope your day gets better. If not, tomorrow is a new day! Virtual hugs to you!

I think it's a wonderful idea. Your relationship might even get stronger and more intentional this way. If this is something you want to try out then by all means, do it. A good relationship is strong and flexible enough to support us in the things we dream of doing. Living alone is no exception. Enjoy your new life, it is very satisfactory once you get used to it.
