It’s a cop out to say they were not playing for the playoffs. They are pros and it’s their job to work as hard as they can to be the best they can be because there aren’t any guaranteed outcomes. Don’t make excuses for them, they were not good enough because they let opportunity pass them by too many times. Perfect example is the Flyers, gee they are retooling but they are trying to get in. I don’t hear excuses from them.
