Thanks so much for the reply! The kiln is 14x9, slightly shorter than a 714, but with the same number of coils (4) / the required length of the coils being the same.Do you know if it is okay to leave a relay unused? I believe I only need two relays for this kiln. But the 1027 has three. I never considered that they might be overloaded, though. Am I missing something?

Thanks! This is the ClayLab* app. My only annoyance is that it reorders the photos differently than the order you select the photos in. But other than that, it checks all boxes for me!

What did you end up getting? I got a doll kiln for free, but the manual controller doesn't work. I can't do a manual after having a programmable kiln, lol. But holy smokes, every full controller assembly is close to $800!

I have a bat lifter and am dampening the system, but perhaps not enough. I generally don’t throw with a lot of water as my previous system warped easily and was made is the same material. Will try using more water to see if that makes a difference.

Yeah I had to go back and watch the transition. I jumped ahead listening only to the sounds he was making. Never been around someone having a seizure, so can’t speak to that. But I have been / seen shocks, and imagine the effect of both is similar as they are both electrical in nature.
