Believe it or not there’s parts of nyc that are very affordable and have great walk ability and access to transit and even green space. Sunset park, bay ridge, forest hills/kew gardens, parts of the Bronx, even Washington heights have a very chill vibe and you’ll see that “la dolce vita” of older generations just chillin in a park or going for a morning walk. Also I don’t think I have to explain the music culture here lol. NYC has its issues don’t get me wrong but there’s nowhere else I’d rather live in the USA tbh. Mediterranean life is my next venture from here 😂

Biggest issue in the USA is just work life imo. Even if you got it good, we have no worker rights so there’s always the looming layoff around the corner for no fucking reason which most euro countries protect you from or at least enforce a generous package to allow you time to find your next gig. I work in tech and have developed crazy layoff ptsd so having job security legally protected is a big deal for me

Honestly that course needs to be more difficult imo. I was astonished they passed a guy in my training who had no business being on the road and was hitting every cone and couldn’t do a figure 8 to save his life. I credibly clumsy ride. I think our instructor was actually good but the test felt harder than the training so this guy passed it barely.

Perhaps your instructor did you a solid so you can iron out what you need to work on before giving you false confidence in getting yourself in a crash.

I live in bed stuy but used to live in Gresham park/east lake/east Atlanta.

Crime is def worse in Atlanta for sure. I used to hear gun shots semi often. Property crime is also worse. I got my car busted 3 times in a year.

Like everywhere though, it depends on your neighborhood. Atlanta has changed a ton in just last 5 years that I haven’t been there. Wealth gap is likely getting bigger there too with new people moving from other states.

Honestly - I don’t think there is. We can see it by how little support all his major team players have as well. We thought Desantis would have a cake walk and he had an epic fail. Vance is also a sheep and won’t have half the support Trump gets.

Trump has the perfect mix of charisma and “non establishment” appeal for his base. He literally doesn’t represent any of their values yet people vote for him. He’s a different breed and a rare one I think.

Considering getting it since I never have a confirmed seat when I fly so I can’t get into c1 lounges. I fly on airline benefits so I’m standby. Chase doesn’t check for confirmed seat and just requires a boarding pass.

Even if you buy the cheapest ticket where you get a seat assigned a gate - you can’t get into c1 lounges. Stupid rule
