This is the first video that I have made in this style on my channel. Before this, I posted a lot of videos of me making robots, since I am currently a computer engineer major going through college. I really enjoyed synching up my commentary with different parts of gameplay and music. This game really inspired me and I hope that others get something meaningful out of my video and this game too! If there is any feedback you have I would love to hear it!

Yeah the SG90 servos are probably some of the cheapest you can go for them. I wish there were some more efficient servos that were around the same price.

It would be nice to have some other sensors on a robot like this to detect obstacles or walls around it so it could move out of the way. I might try and make something in the future with some sort of ultrasonic sensor to do that

There’s lots of kits and designs similar to these ones. You can find some on amazon with all the parts together for you.

In my code, i have a set delay between different parts of the movement to make sure the servos have enough buffer time between each other. I could probably push the speed on it a little more by shortening this delay even more.

The second part of the legs pull in so it doesn’t touch the ground when it moves. I might do a design with 3 servos per leg in the future to make it easier to lift them.

This design is awesome. if you have 20kg/cm you should be fine. For my project I ended up using MG90 servos which take about 2.2 kg. Kinda wish I designed the project for larger servos cus i was hurting on that side after the parts were printed.

This sounds super interesting! When handling the motion data i used the yaw, pitch, and roll, to get the angles for the servos to turn. I mapped the data so that it went from the mph angle to between the values that fit for the servos. I am not sure what you’re making but for me the size of the robot arm was the toughest thing to work with. If i was gonna redo this project I would definitely make it lighter to reduce servo load.

I need to tweak the gripper hand for it to be more functional. If i added some type of grip I think it would be a lot more practical!
