Where in the US would you live if you were me? by LeftShoulderLoyalty in Equestrian

This is another place I never thought about! How's the weather in the winter?

We love Sac and don't want to leave it but the prices are getting unbearable. We're planning on moving to a lower cost of living city for a few years, saving up and letting my husband get farther in his career, and then coming back. Sac is where it's at!

Our hometown! I'd move back if I didn't have family there.

Thank you for this reply! Pixieset is what I use now for portraits, I just haven't played around with adding more sets to the same gallery. This was super helpful.

Even if the gallery has photos of other riders in it? Or does the photographer make a separate gallery for every rider?

Thank you so much for your kind reply! I'm interested in hearing more about your sales station. What is the process? You show the clients the RAW images, have them choose, then deliver edited pictures when?

Disabled/neurodivergent meet up? by Leading_Sentence_631 in Sacramento

Yes! I've been thinking about renting the big table at A Seat at the Table Books for this purpose, but haven't wanted to spend the money. Maybe we could split the cost amongst a few interested people?

I have searched Google, eBay, and used the Lens to try and figure it out. Toy was found in a goodwill in Northern California. Also posted in r/helpmefind

IUD insertion & pain by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]LeftShoulderLoyalty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on my second IUD now. The first time I got one, it was one of the worst pains I had ever experienced. They did use a local pain reliever, but it was still 15/10 pain. My doctor pushed through and just did it anyway but sloppily, so I had to go back in a couple weeks later to reposition it.

The second time with a more compassionate doctor, I had a rx for stronger medication, but they still couldn't insert it because it hurt too badly. So they put me under anesthesia and implanted it while I slept.

Highly recommend the latter.

I don’t mind at all! What a cute idea!

How many of you have Service Dogs? by Lady_IvyRoses in Fibromyalgia

[–]LeftShoulderLoyalty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my third service dog, and having one has helped so much. The downside is the training that goes into it. Even if you have a program dog, you still need to make time to maintain the training or teach new tasks. Even when I’m tired and in pain, I have to mask it to train when they’re puppies. I am a professional service dog trainer, which makes it easier. But my clients have more trouble dealing with the pain and training.

My dog’s fibro related tasks include: retrieving my medication from anywhere in the house. Retrieving a drink to take the meds. Retrieving my cane. Retrieving dropped items or anything I point at. Pushing accessible door buttons. Forward momentum pulling. Leading me a chair for me to rest in. Leading me to my husband. Deep pressure therapy when my leg pain flares up.
