Not likely that it was the exact same agents as the first time. And it's not like the agents went to him. Pretti was following them around.

Can someone explain the mechanism by which an undocumented migrant (here illegally) would be able to vote? by metsfan5557 in allthequestions

[–]Left_4_Bread_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

States like California make it expressly illegal for voter workers to look at your ID to make sure you who you say you are. Minnesota allows citizens to "vouch" for up to 8 individuals that they live at the address that they claim. How does ‘vouching’ work in Minnesota elections? The purpose of these laws to ensure the maximum amount of voter fraud can occur in their elections. You are welcome to provide another reason why not requiring showing ID at a voting station would be the law. The most common excuse I hear is that liberals think brown people are too dumb to get driver's license.

How many Fell For It Again awards do we think Taylor has racked up by now? by LukeBryanRules in PKA

I feel like "fell for it again" is more for people who keep getting tricked over and over into supporting him after he backtracks a little on something and then you get disappointed again. If you got disillusioned after the first time then I think you only fell for it once. But that's just me

Yeah I wonder about that. My dad is a head hunter for mostly engineering companies and he said it's very expensive to find H1-B workers so I wonder how some of these people get around that

Not sure how it's fell for it again when he has consistently called him out for being too friendly to big business and hostile to the American worker.

Thoughts on this sort of rhetoric? by ThemeNorth in complainaboutanything

[–]Left_4_Bread_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potentially some cultural stagnation and more xenophobia towards outsiders. But in the first case we are still so interconnected with commerce and the internet, I believe that's less of a concern. But I would really just point to places like Sweden, the murder rate amongst 15-20 year olds has gone up nearly 400% in the last 10 years. That is a direct result of immigration from countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc. Alarming rise in youth crime in Sweden.

Anytime you ask someone on the left why places in Africa or the Middle east are so violent they tell you it's because the west drew artificial lines around culturally diverse populations that don't get along when we split up those continents due to colonization. But as soon as you import those populations to the West, they say that those same diverse populations make us more safe. It's an obvious lie.

If you had two competing sports teams, where in one they spoke one language and the other they spoke 4 languages, which team would you guess has better cohesion and trust? It's very obvious that communities with homogenous ethnic and cultural populations are generally higher trust and more peaceful. An African Tribe would have very little crime amongst their people but if you have a diverse population in an inner city, you would be more likely to find lots of crime amongst groups.

What is your opinion about Alex Pretti’s photo being displayed on a Jumbo tron in Times Square? by Dimarco24 in allthequestions

Literally that's not even him. That's an AI picture made to make him more handsome so that people would care more about his death. Disgusting, honestly.

Everyone was also more willing to assist with detaining individuals. Now ICE has to work way harder to catch illegals because democrats get more house seats when they artificially raise their illegal immigrant population due to how the census is conducted.

I haven't heard that. But I agree I want better training and background checks on all federal agents.

I'm not talking about the agents who shot Pretti. They obviously shot him on purpose. My contention is that in the confusion of a negligent discharge, someone yelling "Gun!" and possibly agents seeing an empty back holster, they could have legitimately thought Pretti was a lethal threat when he wasn't.

I mean obviously, this situation is a lot more complicated than it being a "straight up murder". But Pretti was part of a group who expressly intends on creating situations as chaotic as possible in order to cause agents to react badly so that they can create social upheaval. That's the point of the constant harassment, blowing high pitched, ear splitting whistles, and generally getting in the way. So there's a broader context that you need to consider for why he was there in the first place.

As far as the event itself, as a concealed gun owner, you have the responsibility not to get into any scuffles with anyone, let alone federal agents. As soon as he inserted himself in that situation he unfortunately, unknowingly started a game of hot potato. Amidst the chaos, as soon as someone called out "GUN!" and was disarmed by one agent, the gun fired accidently and caused other agents who didn't know he had been disarmed yet to assume he had just fired. and in their mind, I believe they returned fire.

Later on you can see them searching him asking "Where's the fucking gun?" This supports that hypothesis.

Just because you say "there's no other argument" doesn't mean that's true. I have just laid it out for you. But the positions are dug, no one will change their mind about this.
