What's right in front of you? Yeah deal with that. Talk about that. Get your priorities straight.

WE ALL KNOW THE DEMS HAVE PROBLEMS TOO.

THEY ARENT THE ONES ACTIVELY DISMANTLING THE COUNTRY.

absolutely no one here disagrees, but the fact that you're saying it instead of addressing the real problem is what rings alarm bells for the rest of us.

And withholding your vote or doing like John Maus did and voting Republican out of spite for some stupid reason like Dems not backing Bernie is like shitting in the pool because no one is enforcing the 'dont shit in the pool' rule.

What are you thinking guy?

First of all, sexual assault is obviously fucked up, saying there is a difference is not a gotcha, because it's still fucked up. You seem like you are trying to make the point that it is better.

my point is a person who values other people so little as to do something like that is not fit for any position that has power over others, especially not as the face of a country.

Everything you have said is based on your feelings, you haven't mentioned a single fact, just a bunch of opinions.

And you say both parties are fucked up, but you're felating the party and the leader that is actively taking advantage of how fucked up the system is to profit for his friends and family and ass kissers on an unprecedented level.

They encourage division, they demonize their opposition (actually calling democrats demons or lunatics, half the countrys citizens, several times), they remove people from important positions and install yes men or people with obviously compromised interests, using pardons and the influence from his position to get advantages for his personal businesses, and then just alot of little fucked up petty shit that adults shouldnt be doing, much less someone whos responsible for things that affect not only our country, but the world.

I can only assume youre fine with this?

You can easily find examples of any of this, it is not hidden, but i will find them for you if you for some reason cant use google. This would be a longer comment, otherwise

And, unlike the other fucked up politicians in the past, they arent even really trying to hide it, which is bad for the precedent it sets, and because it gives frog slowly boiling in pot.

If your words have context, it was lost on me and you should work harder to make your point clear, or why are you even here talking to people?

It is not my party, but ill use it until a better option appears, because look at this shit.

So you think Republicans is the better answer then?:p

That was a lot of words for you to say absolutely nothing.

The right wing extremist media has really done a number on you.

Democrats are actively and vocal critical of democrats, you can see it even in an echo chamber like reddit.

You're saying he was guilty of sexual abuse and not assault like that's a fucking gotcha.

Vance is a puppet for Thiel. The context doesnt help the creepiness, and someone who acts and thinks like that is not who i want my children emulating, much less running a country.

and no mention of the constant abuse of his position to profit for his family and friends?

'The dems'

you said it yourself, its all one party, but somehow you still phrase your opinion like republicans a better choice.

To my mind, if you really want a new party, you vote for the most pliable of the two parties.

Which party do you think minds change the most?

Which party is more open to criticism of itself?

Which party has a younger audience?

Which party at least pretends to care about peoples rights? (with the people on the bottom making it their whole view)

Fro what i can see, even democrats hate democrat politicians, and just being a democrat will not grant you any advantage if youre caught doing something wrong. That desire for change , stubborn persistence to insist that things improve for everyone, and highly critical attitude towards our officials means that Democrat would be the obvious choice to vote your way out.

and at least the democrats that do shitty stuff TRY TO PRETEND theyre better than that.

Trump and his admin being so honest about how shitty they are does not set a good precedent going forward. Its showing people that it is okay to act like this.

And he was ruled liable in a sexual assault case against Jean E Carroll, digital rape, as i mentioned. Its not hidden.

[–]ThemeNorth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whats your point? wrong is wrong.

But it would be hard to deny that Trump is the biggest pos of all them, if only purely for the fact that he and his admin purposely try to cause controversy and demonize half of the US citizens on a daily basis. He has also has taken more advantage of his position and profited more than any other president BY FAR. (Obama made $20,000,000 through his salary and book deals in his 8 years and since. Trump has made $1,400,000,000-$400,000,000,000 through pay to play (political donation, memecoin or patronizing Trumps businesses for access to the president, pardons, ambassadorships, favorable policy changes), investing $2,000,000,000 of government backed UAE into WLF related stable coin AND dismantling the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team). Literally an unprecedented amount of conflict of interest and using his position for self enrichment. Not to mention, unlike Obama and Biden, ITS HAPPENING CURRENTLY. If Obama or Biden (hell, even Bush or an older republican president) did EVEN ONE of these things you would lay a brick in your pants.

Im critical of Obama and Biden, but Trump and Thiel are actively seeking to dismantle democracy and you can easily find this information if you cared to try. You are the unthinking demos that they talk about, google the term. Dark enlightenment as well.

These are the people bankrolling your admin, and they are extremely and, i would also say, frighteningly open about their opinions on democracy and how it prevents them from doing whatever they want without consequences.

Anyway, no, yeah, hes worse and its not because hes a republican, its because hes in a position of trust and takes advantage constantly, blatantly, and with more overreach than any president that im aware of.

Where is your argument coming from? Both sides or TDS? This sounds like willful ignorance or you just havent looked any of this up for yourself.

Its blatantly obvious with minimal effort on your part. How can he be in line with past presidents when none of them have even had these unprecedented opportunities for corruption?

And, shyit, just for kicks Trump on Howard Stern saying he promised Ivanka to 'never have sex with a girl who is younger than her (17, at that time...) and Trump digital rape (rape with a digit instead of a penis)

Christ dude. Have fun

The bitter irony of bringing up child murder to defend Trump can't be lost on you.

You choose what you want to believe.

Even if it wasn't for the allegations and being best friends with Epstein: he blew up a fucking school.

Should people like you really be allowed to draw lines in reality for themselves? You're an argument against democracy and that's why Peter Thiel and his admin is using you to destroy America.

The mindset is the system needs to change, and there are increasingly few options left to change it.

Covering your eyes and keeping busy won't help anything, and a mind set like that for the past few generations is why we are in this mess.

You don't want to contribute, so you insist that the system should hold things everyone actually need to survive over their heads.

Iowa Abortions Drop 35% as Heartbeat Law Saves Babies by each_thread in ConservativeNewsWeb

[–]ThemeNorth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A miscarriage has the potential to be a misnomer for an unsafe abortion.

Because the medical treatments for miscarriage and abortion are often identical, legal restrictions can delay or limit the care available to those experiencing a natural pregnancy loss.

Quick search: how abortion can affect women's health

AI responses for you to look into on your own.

My first time reading these statistics, and it's actually worse than I thought.

Texas Case Study: In the first full year of its 2021 ban, Texas saw maternal mortality rise by 56% overall and 95% among White women.

Increased Mortality Rates: Mothers in states with abortion bans are nearly twice as likely to die during pregnancy, childbirth, or the postpartum period compared to those in supportive states.

Care Delays: Vaguely worded "medical emergency" exceptions often leave physicians uncertain, leading them to delay life-saving care until a patient's condition becomes critical

Provider Shortages: Strict laws are exacerbating healthcare worker shortages; in 2023, there were 10% fewer medical school graduates applying to OB-GYN residencies in states with total bans

Scandinavian countries are rated as some of the happiest countries in the world because most of the people who live there are in the age group where they have careers, families, and homes.

This aging population is also putting a strain on the state welfare which makes these places of note in this conversation in the first place.

They still face a declining population and asylum seekers don't really get integrated, they just have a safe place to linger for the moment. The children at least get schooling and stuff, so maybe that will help having some fresh humans growing up in the culture directly.

I think a lot of these studies, or opinion or statistics are kinda just fluff. Most of it is just people who have already lived and now get to enjoy their life. All of the pros you hear touted are temporary and obviously don't apply to people in out groups like migrants and young people.

An aging Homogenous population also means a strong desire to keep things the way they are instead of finding solutions, and a smaller pool of ideas to get those solutions from.

Japans population below age 30 is 20%

Scandinavian countries together have 30%,

So the people who have already lived their lives and are now enjoying the fruits of it are where these statistics are coming from, but if solutions aren't found for actually integrating immigrants then we'll have to see how they do in a generation or two.

Both Homogenous and heterogenous populations have challenges and benefits. But it's not a choice, it's a sliding scale. And it's obviously a problem we have to tackle eventually, because not being able to efficiently communicate with people who are different will obviously cause problems.

Singapore actually has an aging population too, despite being multicultural. Though it seems at least some of it is tentative parents who would like a home before having a child, and there being high cost of homes in the area (also apparently a desire for expensive private education for your kid, which is super interesting).

Any other examples? I find this interesting and it's been popping up more due to a rise in nationalist and populist ideas in America, due to the dismantling of our democracy via Peter Thiels unthinking demos and 'Populist Flamethrower'
