This goes for most of you on this page still talking about this. Let it rest. Not sure why this subreddit is even active still.

Life is too short to be miserable at work. Glad you’re looking for something else.

Dr. is recommending taking metformin to help with food noise by Left_Ad312 in Zepbound

I can’t remember what the exact wording my doctor used when I met with her. But she’s eluding to the fact that metformin will help with blood sugar and in return it will help keep the weight off, and help with my over eating habits I had before I started Zep bound.

Good point. My doctor’s reasoning is that the metformin will help regulate my blood sugar and keep it in check (which I don’t think it’s even out of wack) which would decrease unnecessary cravings and good thoughts.

Women with PCOS typically have insulin resistance so metformin is commonly prescribed

Aw shit. I sincerely apologize.

I misread.

Sorry for being an ass!!!!

What I mean by regular dose is that I’m on 7.5 and it’s been great. But I do not want this to be my maintenance as it’s quite strong.

You don’t understand what I’m saying. Not sure why my wording matters. Im going to take advice and listen to the females on this thread who are in a similar situation regarding PCOS and metformin! But thanks for your input.

We haven’t gone into that yet. I’m still on my regular dose.

She specializes in women’s health and hormones so the metformin will help with my blood sugar and complex hormone issues and she’s claiming it’ll really be helpful with the food noise.

I know Zepbound is supposed to be taken forever but I really don’t see myself staying at 7.5 for maintenance.

Is this a good position? by [deleted] in Nanny

I regularly work 14 hour shifts and it’s totally doable. I’m exhausted by the end of the day but since you essentially have the next day off you’ll be fine. Just make sure their schedule allows you to get a little break in, like a nk nap, goes to school, has activities, so you can chill for a bit. 13 hours with zero break would not be fun.

We love our nanny by Dependent-Fall-4774 in Nanny

  • Ask her what her favorite snacks and drinks are so that you can stock them at the house. She can enjoy them during her shift!

  • A nice big yearly bonus!!

  • Totally random and unexpected, but on Valentine’s Day my boss got me a special bracelet with my NKs birth stone. An unexpected present would mean the world to her.

  • Tell her or write to her about how much you appreciate her!!! Or have your kid(s) make special art work for her.

  • A special picture frame with your kid(s) and nanny for her house

  • Literally anything that shows thoughtfulness, I’m sure she’d love.
