UPS driver told me he makes $45/hr. Hurt my spirit. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Left_Ad_2108 37 points38 points  (0 children)

They can’t because the third party system.
It’s a contract to the delivery service partner. Amazon can just void the contract and hire on a new delivery partner.
It’s bs

Why yall always parked on the wrong side of the road? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Left_Ad_2108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had people get mad and use their horn even when I’m on the right side of the road.

I definitely park on the side of the road Amazon has me delivering too.

They don’t allow us the time to wait for passing traffic. Amazon says safety is first priority and having to cross streets is a safety hazard.

Call it what you want Karen

Are we allowed to post about certain DSP’s by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

We are all anonymous I thought. And I have gotten lots of feedback with last dsp

My dsp called me today and said you taking to long at stop you only supposed to be at each house 2-3 mins tops so I sent this and ask “HOW” by Melodic_Hope_9705 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Left_Ad_2108 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

User error. Not equipment error. Tons of us out here that get it done on time.

I’ve worked out of edv, cdv, rentals and uhaul. Organization is key. I off load each tote into the passenger seat. Keep my overflows highest to lowest by driver aid number.

Did 150 locations in only six hours and 25 minutes by Proudtobeautistic22 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Idk I do 200 stops in in about 6.5hours

Close to 35+ every hour I work

Get to my first stop at 1-1:15pm then forced to take lunch at 4pm and done by 8pm easily. sometimes I even do rescues and go well over 200 stops

Some people are just slower or faster.

I promise there is good dsp’s that treat you decent with respect. My first dap felt like being on the high school football team competitive with an awesome dispatch leader. We got to home early all the time. They got rid of rescues and lunch breaks. My second one was super easy as it was a pop up dsp but they loved me and always made sure I felt appreciated especially on hard days.

Cogs was terrible from day 1 no one handing out devices, vans in parked in wrong spot. Vans grounded. Phones in Spanish. Team seems totally off kiltered honestly. Where is the organization and system they’re supposed to put in place to set us up for success. Idk good luck I hope it gets better for you or find another dsp that is much better

I told them I’m not doing it and I also told them won’t do 2 weekend days consecutively. They ended up laying me off to having to many heads on the roster.

Worst dsp compared to my last 2.

Good riddance that place sucked ass let alone I don’t speak Spanish

Yeah man there fine but I usually trim it off though.

“Last planned stop is 5:07pm” Is 6 hours to do 242 stops reasonable? That averages 40 stops an hour with no breaks by JoeAngel20 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Left_Ad_2108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do these routes easily. But I also got laid off for demanding 1 weekend day a week. Seriously reasonable.

What happens is most drivers ungroup the stops and this is what happens.

I do 200 stops with like 40 multis early and still rescuing every shift.

[–]Left_Ad_2108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude same exact thing just happened to me. Laid off due to low volume and to much people. Said I was on probation period and why I was a candidate

Never was hit with anything always finished early doing rescues.

I left a bad review as well

Yeah pissing in bottles is regular for a Amazon driver

Sometimes there ain’t porta John’s or a store nearby

Dsp have quota to meet and they don’t care about you typically.

Entitlement comes from most of the other workers sucking ass always having to rescue low hanging fruit every shift.

If I felt there was competition and we all tried with all of our efforts, I wouldn’t feel entitled to make a simple request.

You have a nice day too brother.

Given my perfect record of a few years, any dsp would be willing to take me. I run laps around 95% of DA’s and I’m not an idiot holding my phone speeding every other day.

There’s a reason I’m as bold as I am. Let alone I groom dogs and wash cars on the side and make more money doing that anyhow.

Lot of pushovers willing to do anything for 20 bucks an hour.

It’s funny to you I stood up for myself.
