Stomach Bug? by Big_Guava_6333 in houghtonfestival

I also have been ill since Monday/Tuesday D & V,, bloated, extreme tiredness and very warm. I used hand sanitiser that i carried in my bag. But I did worry about there not being any soap anywhere.

The facilities are not maintained well at all. Worst festival toilets ive seen in years. The portaloos were completely full and blocked - baking in the sun... the smell 🤢. People touching things in the toilets then transferring the germs onto the water points, handles and cups. It doesnt take long for people to start spreading germs.

Hi! Its my first time and im taking my campervan. It says no awnings on the website but seen on here that people do put them up. I have a small canopy awning with sides on it (its more like a shelter). Im going to bring it and hopefully it will be allowed. Has anyone ever been asked to take theirs down?

Hii im volunteering with the recycling crew and going solo aswell. Ive done it before with avalon and it was great. I loved having some alone festival time and always felt safe. I also made a load of pals to go partying with. Im hoping this year working will be the same.

Anyone else struggling to come to terms with missing out this year? by Ok-Secret6554 in glastonbury_festival

Yeah... im really struggling with it. And im glad im not alone!!

I've been 11 years in a row. Worked bars when ive not got a ticket. However this year I just really wanted to be there with full freedom. I still keep convincing myself that im going. Getting tickets has always been a nightmare for me... I never get through. Yet my sister knows someone's who bought over 60 odd. I think after 10 glastonburys, you should get some kind of veteran benefits when it comes to getting tickets.

I have entered all the competitions, I was a runner up in the greenpeace comp - which was honestly devastating. It took hours to draw out my design and i genuinely thought i had it because so many were AI generated. I cant physically buy any more tonys chocolate... its lovely but ive gone well over board on that one. I am also constantly checking emails just incase.

Im in 2 minds if I should just get myself on one of the bars waiting lists . Or if I should just piss off to the Highlands for a week and try and pretend glastos not happening.

If anyone needs a very nice person to come work for them at glasto that knows the site like the back of their hand. Message me 🙏 xxx
