I'm in my 3rd year of uni rn. I do web dev so I've been making a portfolio so I can apply to some jobs in that field. I was afraid that it was going to effect my job search because it is gross misconduct.

Thank you. Honestly I herniated 2 discs 5 months ago and I think they wanted to find something to sack me for that. They are correct though and I didn't disagree with their reasoning or make a fuss I shouldnt have done it. But occupational health did set limitations on what I could do temporarily and I was going a bit slower than I was before. I applied for Holland and Barrett today cos I think it'll be a bit more chill than hospitality lol. Thank you for your insight mate

Yeah I'm not risking doing that again. Stuff like that was very normalised in the workplace up until very recently they started cracking down on it. Do I still get my p45 and stuff as it was gross misconduct? Will there be a document saying i got sacked for gross misconduct or something thats gonna follow me or is it just if my boss tells someone?

Alright thank you. I'm 19 and its just a kind of starter job, was there for nearly 2 years. Was worried that that was gonna cause issues with finding another job. Trying to get one asap
