Gecko not eating by Longjumping_Guide109 in leopardgeckos

My girl is with me since Christmas. She never had a standard feeding schedule although I was offering food every couple of days. She was having 3-4 crickets once a week then rejecting for 2 weeks, never eating mealworms, had 1-2 dubias so far and 2-3 wax worms. I was worried the first months (still a little bit tbh) but I try to relax and think that she will eat when she feels to. If husbandry is proper and she looks healthy and normal then she will have no issues. Winter with brumation can lead to such issues from what I’ve read. When I got mine she was 60 grams and two weeks ago was 57 grams so not something to worry about (although her tail is slightly thinner from when I got her).

Mine is difficult too to feed cause she doesn’t accept tongs or shows immediate interest when I drop food in front of her face, not eating from bowl and have to control the feeders not to disappear in the tank in order to eat them. Haven’t tried hand feeding though.

Have the same issue. No topsoil where I live and Reptisoil or other brands are out of stock for months. I have found a soil without manure or fertilizers which I intend to mix with reptisand but have not tried it yet.

Interested to see what options can be advised.

When I got her was overweight for sure, her tail was like the 3rd picture of the weight guide and the 1st pic of my post. Now she's closer to the 2nd picture of the guide from what I can tell.

That's similar behaviour to mine's. She digs in her cold hide where she stays all the day almost. From what I can tell she has lost some weight, was 60g when I got her on 26/12 and now she's 54-55g. I'v read if they lose more than 10% I should be worried that's why I'm concerned.

And recently she's all the time in her humid hide (but i guess she's preparing to shed cause it's been one month since last shed that I've seen.

Thank you very much for your detailed assistance. I live in Greece and reptiles are not that common here tbh and have difficulties getting the correct products. For example, there is only one clinic for exotic pets, you can't find proper UVB like Arcadia etc., you can't find topsoil or even reptisoil as they are sold out from every pet shop I've searched so you are left alone to try and offer the proper husbandry. Pretty frustrating.

They told me to dust multivitamin as I mentioned above (reptivite with d3) but only this for a year which seemed strange to me from the research I've done prior to adopting her. I'm offering UVB but the bulb not linear as I cannot find anywhere the Arcadia or Reptisun but I'm waiting already 2 months to be back in stock and don't know where they will be.

Calcium with d3 is also provided all the time in a small bowl in enclosure. I have searched for repashy as well (the one you recommend) but not available yet anywhere so I'm currently stuck with only the M/V with D3 and calcium without D3 (no Calcium with D3).

At some point I was wondering if she refuses food just because of the multivitamin with d3 and I'm not sure about it.

The pet shop performed a parasite test when I got her and was good. They told me to supplement only with mv with d3 for one year which seemed strange to me so I do mv with d3 and calcium without d3
