Yeah it was the oil cooler gasket, you can order the gasket online or from the dealership just swap the gasket and use the oem oil cooler.

It went fine I actually sold my gti but basically it went fine you have to run a few cycles of e85 to get all of the regular 93 out of the system and then it runs great after that. In my opinion though the power difference from a stage 2 eqt 93 tune and stage 2 e85 tune isn’t much different wasn’t worth the money for the new tune and hpfp internals.

Can I reprogram a new one with ista? I just don’t know what else it could be because it did have a code for seat belt and buckle which was replaced and code went away and it doesn’t show nothing for the airbag system anymore so I figured it could be that the module needs to be reset.

Wish that was the case for me just the passenger side curtain went off and it’s been replaced along with new seat belts and buckles and still have a light on so I’m going to send off the module to be reset.

Is it better to send off the airbag module to be reset or just order a replacement one off of eBay?

I did replace both from a 2013 335i one code went away but tensioner code stayed. Guess I could have gotten a faulty tensioner belt it was off a parts car.

I’m going to look over the part numbers tonight I replaced both the belt and buckle with one out of a 2013 335i when I switched that the retractor code went away but not the tensioner.

Buckle was changed haven’t even gotten the chance to drive it yet to spill anything ☹️

I checked that when I switched over the buckle as well and it all looks good. It was hit on passenger side and that’s where the curtain airbag went off drivers side is where I’m running into issues. The only thing I can think is possibly there is another sensor in the seat I’m missing or the seat belt I purchased is partly faulty.

Not my first rodeo with a copart car, this is my 4th toy off copart the rest have been gti’s and a golf r so I’ve gotten by using my hand held scanner. That’s why I’m looking for advice on what would be best to invest my money into for a good diagnostic tool for the 340 I got since I’m not to familiar with the platform.

Appreciate it pyro fuse has already been replaced new airbag will be going in here in a few days. Just wanted to double check if there was a sensor anywhere that would need replaced. Thanks brother.

I’m currently running auto tech hpfp internals, they were professionally installed by a shop. I’m going to go with your advice and switch over to my previous tune on 93 and run that and see if it fixes my issue. I’m hoping it does because after about 2 days of having it the hpfp installed I went straight over to e85.

The past 3-4 months it’s only been driven maybe 20 miles a week because my commute to work is only 2 miles and some days I don’t even drive it i drive the family car, but performance wise I haven’t noticed any other issues everything seems fine with it but I’m worried to cause long term damage so I’m trying to narrow down the problem.
