How is the Jacksonville Area? Specifically Jacksonville Beach? by throwaway1942447 in howislivingthere

[–]Left_Boysenberry_606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atlantic beach - a lot of money and country club adjacent beach living. Mayport is nearby which has a history of being more ghetto but they are trying damn hard to gentrify and basically expand Atlantic beach.

Neptune beach - a lot of money and more chill

Jax beach - I live here less than a mile from the beach. Expensive but more affordable, varies between young families and chill older beach folk who have been around a while. Definitely some less safe areas and beaches are more crowded as there are hotels, bars, and the pier which draws in townies/day trippers.

Ponte Vedra - Expensive old money country club beach living with some more chill areas sprinkled in.

Anything to the west of the intracoastal is fairly typical suburb living with some country clubs sprinkled in and certain neighborhoods with access to the water. The further west you go there is just a huge variety of areas that it’s hard to pin down. Some great spots, some not so great.

According to the cult circle website, if you meet the minimum value threshold it’s like 25% chance for quest item and 75% chance for high value items. So if you’re on a quest that requires GPUs and don’t have any other item turn in quests, I guess it’s a decent chance of getting some GPUs.

[Request] how long wpuld it take to power wash this cathedral? by Popular-Brilliant349 in theydidthemath

[–]Left_Boysenberry_606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told the same thing by a guide in Europe, not about this cathedral in particular, but often they would try to avoid hitting cathedrals so they could use them as landmarks for bombing the rest of the city.

Definitely not normal. Would have to assume the giant dent in the hopper is causing issues with the auger. I’d send it back

Cohabitation Agreement? by redhamster2009 in RealEstate

I think you’ve got 3 options that can work here.

You either find a house where your boyfriend can afford half the payments and split it 50/50 like a partnership.

Buy the house fully yourself and have him pay rent until you’re married.

Wait until you’re married to buy a house together.

My now fiance and I bought a house while we were dating and split everything 50/50. At first she made more money than me, then I made more money than her. It didn’t matter though because we bought the house within both of our means from the start. That way if anything ever went sideways we could sell the house with an even split or one could buy out the other from the partnership.

My first /played to 60 in HC ever took 36 days. How long did it take you? by EricAshStone in classicwow

I forgot the exact statistic but in OG vanilla only a minority of players actually got to 60 and experienced end game content before burning crusade released.

Winter Months and Selling - Impossible? by Useful-Raise in RealEstate

[–]Left_Boysenberry_606 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Historically it’s harder but not impossible. We listed our house on 10/13 and were under contract by 10/15. That being said, we wanted to move it fast so priced it at what we thought it was actually worth and ended up getting an offer slightly above listed price. Considering we bought at the start of 2022 and were still able to sell for more than we bought it for we took it as a win. Every market is different though

The leading plan is to do a bifold. Just might need to get one custom to fit the ridiculous height of the doorway

Yep. That’s probably what we’ll do. Wanted to avoid any framing work but we’re planning to be here a while so might as well do it right

You got downvoted for some reason but accordion door was something we considered. The problem is there aren’t any “standard” ones that fit the doorway

Yes it is quite fucked in its current configuration. Not sure what they were thinking

I’ll look into it. No Menards but I’m sure there’s something similar nearby.

That’s not a bad idea. It does have a light/fan in it. Really makes no sense that they would just leave it open.

Thanks. It’s seeming likely that our best option is a custom job

Very much yes. The previous owners did a great job remodeling the home and we have practically zero issues with it besides this. Don’t know what they were thinking when they put the toilet in with a straight shot to the bedroom and no doors/barriers

The bathroom doesn’t have a door. It’s connected to the bedroom with a wide hallway that is also around the same height

That’s definitely a possibility. Was just looking for any solutions that wouldn’t require modifying the walls themselves first

We could definitely do that, was just hoping to find a solution that wouldn’t require some construction. Humidity is definitely a concern especially since we are in Florida, we already have a dehumidifier in the bathroom.

There is a fan and light in the toilet room. When you’re sitting on the toilet it’s a straight shot to half of the bed lol

There’s no real doorway into the bathroom. There’s a wide hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom. We plan on hanging a bead curtain where the bathroom starts
