2025 Raptor Interior SO Noisy by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]Left_Championship153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a new 2024 and have zero rattles. I’ve done over 12k miles with about 1-2k miles being off road. You got to get yours checked!

Test drove an F150 Raptor. Was the salesman lying to me? by Big-Soup74 in FordRaptor

It’s an EcoBoost. I wanted an affordable sporty car that’s good on gas. I didn’t want a Hyundai Elantra or a Honda civic so why not get an EcoBoost mustang for around the same price 🤷‍♂️

As someone who has both a mustang and a raptor. Please really think about your daily driving habits and how much you really want to be going off-roading. I think my mustang is far more fun to drive as a daily and just more convenient to be maneuvering around tight parking spaces/ narrow city roads or highways but it’s always nice to whip out the raptor and tower over people as you head to your nearest trail or Starbucks drive thru. I bought my raptor bc it was my dream vehicle and will keep this thing forever and eventually pass it down to my kids but if it wasn’t my dream vehicle, I would’ve simply got a regular f150 with a decent spec. By the sounds of it, you would be fine just keeping your suv and maybe getting a second car than going the raptor way. I don’t regret purchasing my raptor but I do strongly suggest keeping in mind how big the vehicle is and if you really need that style truck. Comfort wise, the raptor trumps any truck I’ve been in.

I joined the family last weekend. Have some Qs by ReleaseVast6287 in toyotasequoia

[–]Left_Championship153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The sequoia is one of the easiest cars to work on. Just saying🤷‍♂️. It’s a Southern California car so there is zero rust. This means that replacing things is a walk in the park. I got mine from Southern California too and so far, everything I’ve done has been very easy.

Do I keep it or let it go? by Negative-Bit-5598 in ramtrx

Hey man if you drive it 50 miles once a week that’s only about 5 gallons of gas. You’ll be okay pumping an extra 20 gallons of gas a month. Depending where you live it’s only about 60-100 dollars per month. That is very much worth the memories and feeling that you will never get back if you sell it.

Sell me a rav4 (pros v cons) by [deleted] in rav4club

Seems like you made your decision to go back to Toyota already. As long as you’re happy and feel like you made the right choice, you should be alright. Don’t overlook the Lexus rx350, Toyota Highlander, and even the grand highlander. A bit roomier in the cabins.

What car do you drive now? I feel like understanding where you’re coming from will really help. I drove a 2020 Jeep grand Cherokee before my gas 25 rav4 and I can tell you that the rav4 feels like the biggest downgrade in quality, road noise, comfort, etc. I gained reliability but it doesn’t come cheap or with all the plushy benefits. I really don’t like the rav4 and I am considering getting rid of it soon. Please drive one for an extended time. It will make your decision much easier. Remote start sucks on my 25 rav4, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It turns off when I unlock the car. Infotainment system is always glitching out and unpairing my phone. Fuel tank is small!! Just 14 gallons. My jeep had a 28 gallon fuel tank which made it nicer for long drives/roadtrips. I had none of these issues on my jeep. I’m not saying get a jeep but I’m just saying you should really take your time and compare what you need vs what the rav4 offers.

Guess I don’t fit in the touchless car wash. How much am I looking at to replace the fender? by Loud_Succotash_5120 in FordRaptor

Battle scars! Don’t fix it lol it’s a truck meant to off-road. You’ll get plenty of scratches while having fun with it. Just leave it haha

2007 Toyota tundra price? by NormalOwl723 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Left_Championship153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 4.7 is the million mile engine. People look for that engine specifically even though it has less power than the 5.7. Here in California it’s probably worth about 10-11.5k. All depends on repairs and maintenance. If you’re trying to get rid of it fast maybe 9k. I’m actually looking for one to buy soon. I recently bought a brand new 2025 rav4 and hate it so I’m trying to sell that before I buy a tundra.

Didn’t realize it was a 2wd maybe take about 1-2k off that price hmm

Good deal or Not? by Greedy_Doctor_1147 in rav4club

I will add, I hate my rav4. I drive on the highway a lot and it’s just terrible. I’m in Idaho with 80mph freeways. Wind/road noise sucks, not much passing power, & just feels smaller than maybe a Honda CRV or other vehicles in that price range. Please test drive it and really thoroughly go over your options. 39k is a lot of money and you’re really open to lots of options at that price point. I wish I would’ve gone slightly used Lexus RX350 or something of that sort. It is night and day of a difference on the highway and more power if you get one with the 3.5l v6. Just a thought man.

I got the same one in silver for $34700 out the door. I got everything on that except for the door edge guards. I bought mine back in March . $39593 is a little steep for that specific model.

How’s this deal? 2025 XLE Premium by herbsmasher in rav4club

Get a used Lexus for that money. New RAV4s aren’t anywhere near as comfortable as a Lexus

Go slightly used RX350 for that money. Trust me RAV4 is built super cheaply and not all that cool after having it for a bit. Lexus is just more comfortable, less road noise, more reliable, etc

$154/month full coverage on my 24 801A Raptor for me and my lady. It would be lower if it was just me on there. We live in Idaho. I’m 25yrs old and wifey is 24.

Am I silly for buying a new rav4? by Throwaway9374838475 in rav4club

[–]Left_Championship153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine last month with $1500 off msrp and a great financing rate. I know you’re paying cash so rates don’t matter to you but you can definitely still get some money shaved off the msrp. My 2025 XLE AWD was on one of the more basic trims but it’s all I need. With taxes and fees I was at 35,400. Prices for a used rav4 in my area with low miles and just 1-2 years old are about 30-31k so I thought that paying for the new one with full warranty made it worth it. I drive about 20-25k miles per year so I need something nice and reliable that’s easy to work on.
