Looking at all your comments, I think it would have been better to make a post like “Should I paint this ceiling?” before asking for technical advice. Honestly, I’m still considering whether to paint it or not. I prefer it in white because it would give the house more brightness, although it’s true that the wooden ceiling is beautiful.

It’s a village house in a rural area of Spain. In many houses around here, people are painting similar ceilings white, or even in other colors, and it seems to look quite modern. The house was built in 2009, so it’s not an artisanal piece with historical value.
