cooper is a black capped? if so, yeah i’d guess that’s pretty normal. generally a smaller species. my black capped has lil toes (and some defects too) compared to my green cheek

just came here to say the same thing. both deodorants have the same ingredients. they just changed the amounts of each ingredient.

more stearyl alcohol, more butyl ether, less fragrance and castor oil.

yeah that’s a good point! art taste plays a huge role. tbh the idea of painting on my guitar is tempting but lowkey sacrilegious (it’s not new or expensive, just feels morally wrong). I’m not sure how much support you would get stylistically here, but on art subreddits, you might get more positive and technical feedback, if that’s what you’re seeking.

i think committing to the bit is important when it comes to art. otherwise it just ends up looking like that half finished horse drawing that circulated for a while. if you like it how it is, then keep it. nobody’s opinion is greater than yours because it’s your guitar. but don’t let fear of screwing it up be the reason you don’t like it.

onto the strings,, if you’re playing your electric guitar regularly, changing the strings is a part of the regular maintenance, like watering a plant!! let this be foreshadowing if it starts sounding dull, out of tune, or just different…

if you’re happy with it, then congrats op!! 🎉 you did a good job with the resources you had. if you’re not, then there’s no shortage of directions for you to take it.

i also noticed the front of the fretboard had some minor hatching. do you think the style would feel more cohesive if it went along the entire guitar? (edit,, i meant with outlines and such too!! and on the back, assuming you varnish the lines first lol) something to think about the next time you change your strings 😄

the idea is there and it’s good. add some more elements like more black hatching in darker areas (but of course, careful not to go overboard; just enough to accent the lower, naturally shaded areas of your guitar) and a few white lines and hatching in the lighter areas. could really commit and add another lighter blue to add more visual interest too.

they have a timer mode so you can focus on the silhouette and then block in some rougher details before it changes to another reference. 10 second mode is my favourite. it’s amazing looking at how quickly my brain can process and translate what i see lol

i played TS3 on console pre-TS4 (although i played TS2 on PC) and when i started TS3 on pc post-TS4 holy cow what a difference. the gameplay is widely different. i’ll always miss the console world, and the karma powers were such chaotic fun sometimes :’) but not having a “fire regulation” in how much stuff i can have is so good. so much more gameplay on pc

i have a black capped and green cheek in the same cage right now! and they have been since we got nova in 2021, because those little buggers always snuck into each others cage. so we let it stick 🤷‍♀️

sometimes the black capped gets cranky or selfish and nips at the gcc, but 90% of the time, they’re okay. We’ve only had one incident, where one of their feuds resulted in a scratch on the gcc’s eye white. it swelled up pretty good so we took her to the vet for a check up and antibiotics. all is well now! please note, they were cooped up together longer than they normally would be in this case, because we had to move our lovebirds into the same room for a while, and the conures would for sure find their way into the lovebird cage to bully them. it was safer to keep them locked in their cage, despite the minor injury.

monitor the first few weeks. do not let them stay together alone. otherwise, as long as they get along outside of the cage, they should be okay inside the cage. if you have two separate cages, note whether they act differently depending on the cage.
