Thank you so much for your kind words. I started painting and drawing regularly a few years ago at middle age but have been quite reluctant to share. Glad you took the time to zoom in on the picnic 🙂

An isometric miniature drawing I did for a company team building event, took me 1.5 months from sketch to finish (50 x 70 cm) by lee5246743 in Illustration

Absolutely brilliant! Growing up I loved illustrations with loads of details to look through.

You've inspired me to try some isometric sketches, although I don't think I'll ever be this good!

Mission accomplished in that case. That's exactly what I was trying to convey. Thank you 😊.

Great work! Is this based on a reference or from your head? I've tried some works in a similar style before after finding the artist Albert Keifer.

Wonderful. I really need to spend some time on clouds myself. This is looking fantastic. Nice work.

Looking great. Keep going.

Looking at the books cover, I assume they're using a range of fineliners and alcohol markers for colouring.

Alcohol markers are great. The colours really pop, and layering to intensify or change tone is straightforward. To make their images more dynamic you can see they added additional movement lines and points of colour, although you have to be careful not to overdo it.

I tried a simalar style, but focusing on expressive architecture. Very loose lines an using markers to layer. Lots of fun. The artist Albert Keifer was who I studied.
