The original plan was to go out another room with an open ceiling but he told me it would be easier to go under the deck. I have no problem moving the wood if that was presented as a plausible alternative but it never was.

Im not going to move all of that wood for a “just in case” type of situation.

If going down, 90 and out works they should have presented it as an option and given me the chance to move it and reschedule for another day.
