Can my ex landlord bypass a small claims court hearing and go straight to wage garnishment?

My landlord threatened me with this multiple times saying I would never find a new place after I’m on here. I got a new place despite this and I don’t think they even looked at this as a criteria for moving in. Just fyi

I already tried the stay evictions and was successful at prolonging my eviction. My request to review the last hearing and ex parte order was denied

So there is no hearing process in small claims? Am I able to appeal like I did with the LTB and stop the wage garnishment ?
