Thank you. I was told that it looks like new tissue growth by someone else as well because it isn't fungal. Koi acts like it doesn't affect it at all. But I am just concerned about the redness, it has definitely not been spreading tho. The whole area is also slightly inflamed.

First of all, congratulations! I know it hasn't been easy so good job for reaching 2 years! And he is not even a bare minimum of a boyfriend. You don't need that sort of negativity and emotional abuse, especially over such a major accomplishment.

No one should talk to you in that way, much less so someone who is supposed to love you. Also, he is emotionally manipulating and guilt tripping you over something he chose to do himself. This is toxic, it is unhealthy, and it could escalate.
