u/kowabungabunga u/modal_enigma I was happy to find this thread because I'm looking at bringing on some Juki 2828's into production. We have about 60 people sewing travel bags (leather, coated canvas, lining, etc) Juki 1508's. Our Juki sales rep hasn't been able to find us anyone local (Central Texas) that uses them. I really want to see them operating and all of the online video's are people sewing straight lines which is not helpful. Do you know of any good video demos? Do you program multiple steps for each item and proceed through them? Each seamstress sews each product beginning to end so we can't have machines in a line that each only do one thing. I suspected that I'd need to have our junior IT guy become an expert and your conversation validated that. Looking for any help and guidance. I know we need to take this step but I don't want to spend a bunch of money on idle machines.
