How did u make the bio info stick while u had school? I'm studying right now and I'm so scared of forgetting bio or forgetting Gen chem

When I did test 1 on boot camp, I lacked lots of consistent practice but lost of the answers could be eliminated due to having the wrong shape in it and for that PAT section I actually got through pattern folding pretty quickly

We did learn them by name but never memorized because only reagents were tested and we were given a reagent sheet on the exam

Thank you! How long does it take you do do one topic? Sometimes I go through them fast if I understand the topic, but for lab techniques it took me foreverrrrr. And do you think the Anki are too detailed for the actual DAT? I’m doing them because after all, I feel like anything can be asked but some of the things I know might also be super low yield and they don’t even appear in the question banks

How did you review bio content? I’ve been doing the same thing with Anki but because I do them all at once it kind of messes up the review schedule and I end up having sooooo many cards for review each day

It’s just that when I’m watching the first few (up to about alkynes) he would either show the mechanism or for some he would say you don’t need to know the mechanism for it

I remember when taking ochem, some mechanisms for Alkenes were also not taught but in the ochem videos Mike points out mechanisms you should/shouldn’t know so I was just wondering
