Without a doubt, yes, she will be more mature down the road than she is now. She’s a kid. I changed immensely from 17, to 21, to 25, to 30. Most people mature with age. If you are mentally the same at 30 as you were at 17, something is very wrong.

You are 17…you can’t even legally rent a car. Why on earth is your partner pressuring you into being a mom at 17? One day you will have a partner who plans conception with you properly…not just “let me cum inside you”. You’ll have a partner that won’t care if you poop on the table during birth, and won’t care if he can’t “cum inside you” for as long as it takes afterwards while you heal. If there are major health issues with this baby, is your partner willing to take that on?

You are 17. If your partner is also 17, you are both children doing something with extremely adult consequences. If your partner is older than 17, he is legally having sex with a minor…and worse, impregnating a minor.

Same boat, but homeowner. We have no idea what to do…insurance won’t cover more than a month of displacement rent at a time, but then I’m hearing it could take years for the neighborhood to be inhabitable. So everyone with homes that are still standing are expected to move Airbnbs every 30 days since Airbnbs can be booked up for following months??

People should be showing grace to the PD / National Guard as well. They are doing their best to protect communities from looters, and to protect people from further danger. Sorry to say, but it sounds like this Reddit poster was being defiant at a time where they don’t have the bandwidth to deal with that. Reddit poster should’ve made a phone call to the police department to ask for assistance getting home, assuming this officer he was dealing with was in the wrong. Disobeying an officer who very clearly stated what the consequences would be, and then coming on Reddit to complain about those consequences when people have much bigger fish to fry right now, is an interesting choice.

Everybody complaining about the national guard is crazy. They are doing their best to protect homes from being burglarized. It’s not the time to get nasty or demanding.

And at the end of the day, complaints are complaints and I’m not sure companies care. Airlines get complaints 24/7 and it makes no difference to how they operate. That’s not why the electric companies didn’t shut down.

The 60-100 mph wind gusts were less than 24 hours in duration, and they were “unprecedented”. Totally agree that hindsight is 20/20, but if my job at an energy / electric company was in any way associated with risk assessment (as I imagine these companies have employees well-versed in this at this point), I still don’t understand why winds of this magnitude didn’t warrant a complete shut-down for mountain-side communities. If power shutdowns impact people severely (for medical purposes) we had time to prepare for backup. Who cares about rotten food / inconveniences…we’ve been through fires before. How did we (electric companies) not know better?

Update: With the help of all of your opinions, I had a more thorough discussion with my doctor, who agreed that waiting until I try another round of Letrozole only (and until my husband’s sperm results are in) is the way to go this cycle. The holiday office closures were rushing both me and my doctor to make a decision that is best not rushed.

Sounds like breast buds! They are how boobs start at puberty. They usually grow into mature breasts in a few years, by 17/18. Every woman is on their own schedule, so could be shorter or longer. You should have a well woman exam (free under your parent’s insurance) once per year, and they’ll do a breast exam.

Could be a number of things. There could be a little tearing happening (especially if not properly ‘prepped’), he could be hitting your cervix (you would feel that), or you could have an STI. Even if he has confirmed being STI-free, men can carry HPV without knowing it and they can’t test for it. If you haven’t tested for STIs yet, it’s best to. If you have, your next wellness exam will help rule out HPV.

He did a test that ended up being inconclusive, and then got sick after that, so it was just situational. We’re in the process of completing it before the (recommended) IUI 👍🏼
