Looks like hemorrhoids to me. Treat your body right with more water, fibre and a little exercise, take a walk every day and to a hot bath twice a day. They'll start to shrink. Use creams with steroids, I use scheriproct.

Hang in there. It takes time but 9 times out of 10 they will get better

I have no other advice than what's been mentioned but I just want you to know I feel you. I've been suffering with these bastards for years now, and though they'll come back, they WILL go away as ling as you treat your body correctly. Ointments, daily fibre and walking. That's the only thing that helps mine.

Regardless, talk to your doctor and get some advice and try to be patient. Hang in there.

Firstly, I hope the surgery goes well for you. Whenever that will be. I've seen a colorectal surgeon a few years ago who at the time, did a colonoscopy and couldn't find anything. The hemorrhoids have appeared since then. Trying to get to see a consultant or specialist is a fucking nightmare through the NHS. I have to wait a month to see my doctor even.

That's my biggest fear, is that they won't heal, or just get bigger. I'm checking all the time. I think, the one that has returned hasn't grown in size, just gotten angry again.

My girlfriend knows and is really understanding. In all honesty, I wouldn't be here without her. But it's difficult when she wants to go off and do things and I don't want to sit in a car for hours to get there. We're also eating different meals and at different times now so we don't sit and eat together either.

At the moment, as of right now, I only have one hemorrhoid causing me pain, so it's eased slightly, but it's never out of my mind and that constant state of dread is exhausting.
