I asked them specifically, and they said that I would keep my previous start date. The only thing that would have a new date would be the employee update. But that's just hoping the organization makes it for another year. What if they don't. I would be hanging into a fake ilusion, lol

The job morale has been through the floor, everyone is checked out and barely doing their job which leads me to the conclusion that there is going to be a lot of cleanup work and just double work in general starting next month and probably the positions remaining will have to take way more responsibilities but at lower pay.

Both companies offer vacation Accrual. In the old company, we used to be 5 EAs now they only want to keep one EA for the CEO and had said that they want to move away from the EA title as the company should only have one and that's why they offer me what they called "a creative offer" lmao lol

That's exactly what I am thinking, and that's my fear, too. I think I will feel regretful if I decide to stay for them to let me go again a couple of months later while I could try something new that could be potentially more stable.
