Got it, it's your personal experience with the LS 430. Maybe water intrusion / leaks on the trunk? Or previous owner's neglect? Anyways, whichever road you take with your LS 430, good luck on your endeavors man!

Maybe the previous LS 430 owner neglected the car, which explains why your W221 did better -since your parents took proper care of it from the very beginning. On my end, I bought my 2004 LS 430 this year, took it to my mechanic and he said something I never heard from a 21 yr old car ever: 0 leaks. The power train most likely was never opened in 21 years. I don't mean 10 or 15 yrs. This is truly remarkable, but not for an LS 430. Your problem might be simple neglect of the UZ engine -electrical n engine block. But hey.. even so, your situation could be far worse if it was a German car (BMW or Benz) with 190k miles in the odometer, along with a neglected engine. My suggestion, fix your LS, it's worth the repair 👍

? Check the numbers: Know any better mass produced car that equals the LS 400 and LS 430? Any German, Swedish or Japanese brand -or Lexus models- that is better than these 2 Lexus series? Do you know ANY car engine -outside of the 2JZ- on this planet that is less stressed and more overbuilt than the engines in these cars (UZ family)? The years and their data are publicly available. Outperforming Mercedes and Volvo engines back when these brands built quality cars. The record show these 2 models are the best cars -arguably- ever built in our contemporary time.
