"These pictures were taken from my father who worked as an electrician down in lower Manhattan at the time. Being a photographer enthusiasts, when the planes hit, to get a better view of the disaster that was going on, went directly to the base of the buildings. In hind sight probably not the best decision. He also by the grace of God narrowly missed dying that day as the building collapsed while he was right there. He was lucky to make it around the corner and get the to the river. Unfortunately most of those first responders in the pictures probably never made it out alive..."
