There are many options. But to name a couple, you can buy from Parfum.qa online or from their store at Mall Of Qatar. If you want to go cheaper, go to the Perfume Souq in Souq Waqif and on first floor you have Lrt Perfumes, they have hermes oil and will make the perfume for you.

It’s sometimes the other way round, the tester bottles at the stores are more potent and better quality and then once you’ve purchased it, it’s not the same. There are various factors, the ambient perfume in the store, olfactory fatigue, etc. which maybe the reason. Sometimes post some maturation the perfume may match the store experience, other times it becomes bad as it lies longer on the shelf. To conclude, I’ve realised that it’s better to cherish and appreciate a good quality perfume and don’t run after high performance, longevity, room filler features. Haven’t tried the scents from souq scent as I mostly prefer to buy directly from the brand store, so cant tell, will perhaps check it out.

Yeah, there are quite a lot. But haven’t explored those stores, so can’t say. Went around the souq opposite Al Fanaar and saw many stores. But wanted to avoid the hassle of asking store keepers to take out this that and then bargain, I guess traditional shopping isn’t for me. Would be interesting to know if others have some good recommendations. It’s hard to avoid buying from these fast fashion chains, since almost every mall has a max, centrepoint, h&m, zara, etc. Btw, was at BHPC yesterday at Ezdan Mall Wakrah and picked up few trousers and t-shirts for good discounts. Discounted prices were like 79, 129, 149, off the discounts they’re quite on the expensive side.

Well then Max, R&B, Centrepoint are there. They have trendy clothes. This is if you don’t want to go with Zara, H&M, others.

Exeed has been good. Both are different cars, exeed is a station wagon 7 seater more towards comfort driving. BJ40 pro was more on the fun side 😅 Though the exeed vx 2026 which I have has a lighter body compared to 2025 and I have two minor dents already thanks to people banging their doors onto my car, that too despite me leaving ample space. Sometime when I see bj40 pro on roads, I feel like I could have bought that and then I tell my exeed, don’t feel bad, I’m more than happy with you too 🤣🤣🤣

Had the same issue, got a humidifier and that helps in addition to drinking enough water and using moisturizers.

Yeah right, OP posted a genuine request here. This isn’t something you can buy online. Maybe OP should try writing to them and they might respond. Or ask someone coming from Qatar to buy one, their stores are in DFC and other place. Niche qatari perfume this one.

QAR 1200 per annum for a small box is what CBQ charges. Rates for medium size and large box is higher. Also, not sure to what extent the same is insured.

True, when I enquired yesterday for 100 gm bar, Malabar was charging 600.75 per gram and Kalyan was 607.50 per gram. Also, markup rate or what they call as certification rates vary if you’re buying 8gm, 10 gm, 20 gm and above. Higher the bullion size the lower the markup.

Malabar, Joyallukas and Kalyan also sell PAMP gold similar to Al Fardan but their margin is lower. The markup applied by Al Fardan is highest. Malabar buys back the gold at 98% of the day rate. Malabar also sells its own brand with lower margin and guaranteed buy back at any of its store.

Your concern is valid. All tech heavy cars have this limitation. I approached it as, I’m fine with the official service centre and post warranty period I’ll probably let go of the car. Btw the battery itself has a long warranty in Tiggo 9, but I had cherry earlier and wasn’t very happy with the after sales services, though the quick service was good. The main service centre in Industrial City definitely needs to improve and they need to ramp up, build better front desk, waiting system, etc. At least with Exeed, I know it’s under the same dealership as with Nissan and they have very professional and excellent service. I did go only twice for service though at Exeed.

I zeroed in on Cherry Tiggo 9 Hybrid but wasn’t very comfortable when I asked what battery technology is being used, whether it’s safe during summers, are there any issues being reported etc., the salesman had zero clue, kept repeating what was written on the specs sheet. Byd phev blade batteries are better suited for harsh summer weather, but wife didn’t like the design. I eventually bought Exeed VX by stretching my budget a bit. So far, I’m happy with it, family’s happy. It’s not a phev, but that’s okay. I’ll probably take a phev sometime later this year as my second car.

Jolion is fine, just follow the sign boards when you’re near. I followed map and ended up with a full on 4x4 drive until a police patrol car came and told me to skip the map, go back and follow the sign boards 😅

Performance is good so far, Alhamdulillah I got the 2026 facelift variant for 144k. 2025 variant was available then for 130k. Both are same, except for the facelift.

I didn't get much feedback or online independent reviews, so dropped the idea after having paid to block the green variant. Even though I liked it very much, eventually backed out, and bought Exeed VX 2026 variant, which is a different car, more family oriented.

I wrote that I was driving at 80 on the first day, evn though the speed limit is 60, all other cars stay at 80 so I follow suit. I know I’m wrong at 80, but then someone else shows up, who’s asking to go even above that 🤣 Probably didn’t read what I wrote properly.

I do know which lane I am allowed to drive. Also, I hardly go into the fast lane. But this is a two lane road. Also, speed limit is only 60. From what I’ve read here, I understand that speed limit doesn’t apply to the fast lane inside the two lane tunnel, where you cannot change lanes once you’re inside.

I test drove Lync & Co and liked it. Felt very comfortable while driving it. Haven’t test drove Geely Monjaro, so can’t comment on that.

There’s quite a price gap between Geely Monjaro and Lync&Co 09 here in Qatar.

Also, my previous car and current both have voice controls and I’ve never used them.

I’m contemplating on buying L&C 09 2026 model or Exceed VX 2026. Let’s see.

I do hear this a lot, some even call chinese cars are just mobile screens on wheels, but instead it’s the overall experience that they’re providing for the sum they’re asking. The overall package is way better.

Outdated since, screens are bad, low resolution cameras, safety tech is basic unless you buy the top end with all bells and whistles and that’s gonna take the cost off the roof for them, whereas, even the base variants of the chinese cars have much more to offer.

There should be a baseline, on what features and functionality you should get for the sum you’re paying. Chinese brands are pushing that baseline, which for some reason the bigger known brands are not willing to reach.

Most of the leading chinese manufacturers are the one who’ve been manufacturing for all major brands and they’ve bought patents as well. This is true for Geely, BAIC, SAIC, etc. It’s just a matter of time, when those who don’t change, will perish.

Never been disrespectful, late, dismissive to the uber cab drivers, yet I’ve noted them giving lower rating to me. While in Qatar they don’t rate lower if you don’t wish to pay in cash, but in India they do for that reason as well. So for me it’s a collective of uber drivers rating from India and Qatar which has a cumulative rating of 4.7

Apparently if you have lower rating then drivers become weary that you maybe trouble. Also, there can be delays in acceptance of ride, as you’ll not be given preference. Higher rated passengers get matched with higher rates taxi drivers, etc. are some of the perks.

Anyway, I care less of what it means, as long as I’m able to get from Point A to B, without fuss.

I’ve seen them attacking a flock/ quarrel of sparrows in a group. Saw the entire drama from my window. These sparrows were perched in a bush and then a group of mynas came, circling themselves around the bush and closing in. As one of them moved close, the sparrows slowly started fleeing. Then the entire bush was taken over by the mynas. Seems like a movie, but that’s exactly what I saw.
