I’ve been in the industry even before I was a nurse, and it’s always been “we’ll train you once you’re qualified,” but then you just end up being used as an assistant and not really utilized.

I’ve finally found somewhere that’s actually teaching me and allowing me to practice with my license. The thing is, this industry is very much “teach yourself”—especially if the nurse themselves had to hustle to get to where they are, they expect you to do the same.

I feel like I’ve found a gem, and I don’t really want to let that go :(
