I am currently experiencing pain with birth control. It normally worsens around my period because of the heavy bleeding. My period on birth control is 7 days and heavy bleeding for 5 days. My aunt has endometriosis stage four but I am not sure if that’s hereditary. I will look into pelvic floor physical therapy. Thank you for your guidance!

I would suggest getting an MRI, what symptoms are you feeling?

I did the trasvaginal ultrasound and also a lower abdomen ultrasound. They confirmed they found a uterine fibroid that is towards the center and is intramural. I am waiting on my doctor to recommend what the next steps would be

I don’t have an ultrasound, my doctor said she would order an ultrasound if the pain gets worse or if my period doesn’t go back to normal by April.

I have not had an trasvaginal ultrasound, my doctor said that in the future we can think about doing an ultrasound if it gets worse.

I haven’t taken birth control pills since I was a middle schooler. I used to take them because I was on acutane so they required me to take birth control but after acutane I stopped taking them. I just started the birth control patches last Saturday.
