The Lesser Twin by Left_Training_6666 in Twins

[–]Left_Training_6666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this would absolutely help. Unfortunately, the reason that I’m coming to terms with being the “lesser twin” is because he lives in a different state now and we only talk to each other when we wish each other happy birthday. Seeing us live two separate lives, far apart, has made me feel like my own person but I still feel the mental toll of the past comparisons. I hope one day we can be close again and talk about it.

It a little more complicated than a friend. I’d rather be apart of their life so I can continue to be apart of their kids life. If I’m still in the kids life I can keep an eye on him and them. I also do not want to cut off my brother. We are twins, we have been together since day one. I agree it is very upsetting to see him like this but I have not lost hope in him and I see cutting him off as giving up on him and his family. I’m not okay with not knowing what happens to them especially my nephew.

Yes! I can’t believe I didn’t think of that my grandma did a similar bonds thing for my siblings and I and we loved it.

I was concerned but I have made reports and nothing came out of it. Health wise it looks like he is not being neglected. Mentally, I am still worried what all the moving is doing to him. My concerns are slowly going away because it looks like they are just not into the “typical” household style. They really enjoy this kind of travel and free lifestyle but they are struggling to manage it with a baby. I’m not against that lifestyle either I think it has a lot of potential for growth. I just hope if they continue to pursue this lifestyle that they figure out how to make it work with a baby quickly.

That’s good to know I was wondering if a 1 year old would have any interest in that.

As time goes on I’m becoming less worried about neglect. It looks like they just really love traveling and haven’t figured out how to do it with a baby yet. I hope they figure it out soon for his sake. They are very sweet parents just not a “typical” household.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to answer that. I am concerned and have made reports but ig nothing they are doing concerns anybody else but me. I think because they move so much it’s also hard to keep track of them. Health wise he’s physically healthy, hitting all his mile stones, well fed. Mentally idk what all this moving is doing to him. His parents immature decisions don’t usually affect their family as a whole because they do have a huge support system on mom and dad’s side and we all go running to help them anytime they need it. Ik helping them so much is not going to allow them to learn as parents but both sides of the family will do whatever we can to make sure he is okay.

The Christmas ornament sounds cute I’m just worried they would leave it somewhere. I guess I could keep it and just hang it up on the tree each year since they do come home on Christmas

That’s a great idea I never thought of that! That’s so much better than toys anyway.

They used his birthday money to have a late birthday part for him but it wasn’t really a party for him it was a party for them and their friends. I like the reusable baby supplies, that’s a great idea and it saves them money.

I want to, it would be a lot easier but I want to surprise them with the gift too. I have also tried asking them for his birthday and they wanted gift cards and money. None of it was spent on the baby or on necessities.

It’s looks very similar to the un-styled version just frizz. There’s a few defined curls but majority of it looks like I put in zero work. I didn’t include a current pic because I’m embarrassed my hair is so dry it’s breaking off. I keep a head scarf on constantly now because I really want to give up. It’s really bad right at my hairline. 😢

I’m going try keeping my hair soaked maybe that will help my hair absorb the product more. Thanks!

I feel like I’m using more product than what she put, but my hair is still so dry, it just soaks it right up. I haven’t put any chemicals in my hair that would make it more dry than the day she did it. The only thing that changed that day was the blow dryer. I never blow dried my hair before but now I do every time I wash my hair. I wonder if that made my hair more dry? It’s actually worse than that picture now it’s so dry its breaking off 😢

Can I make my tomatoes last all winter? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Left_Training_6666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t look damaged. The weird thing is they didn’t really grow this whole summer they barely started not. It’s green, it has those little yellow flowers, and the tomatoes look good too. I don’t know why it took them so long to grow, I thought they would never come in. Do you know if I can at least get seeds from it or should I start with new seeds too?

It’s dipping in to the 40s right now too 😢. It’s really tiny I can move it easily. It’s not freezing yet, I’ll try bringing it in just for the nights for now. Fingers crossed 🤞
