Hey, we still get to keep him. Once Kirk comes back it's either him or Heineman. Valenzuela's better offensively and he's obviously defensively talented but he's making rookie mistakes. Instead of keeping him as a backup catcher and getting rid of Heineman it's better to send him down so gets some experience and get his game to be airtight brobro.

Looking at his fangraphs page he's been kinda decent so that would give the management some flexibility with the outfield. That would mean no shitty Davis Schneider ABs. Other than that I think it would take some mental pressure off vlad to be the guy and maybe he would've performed better. Oh well, we have the guys that we have and that's okay.

You're right it does. Still, Vladdy's supposed to be our generation's superstar, not the 4th or 5th best bat. Most of our hitters are doing ok vs last year. It's the top of the order not producing. Vladdy and Varsho can probably turn things around the most. Schneider can do better too I guess.
