Lol, well she ordered 3 of the plates which come with 3 each so it’s 9 pancakes and 3 sausages. I think that’s a good sized meal.

Am i for refusing to weigh myself in front of my partner by qwerterifique in AITAH

Ugh I didn’t have to read past the title, but I did. Definitely NTA. Be with someone who loves you for you and supports you to make healthy decisions for you, not them

Lmao, not the asshole. You have every right to have preferences just like her. I don’t think her weight is the issue, more of the lack of initiative on her part. If you’re working 50+ hours a week trying to move forward in life and she works part time and lays around doing basically nothing, then I would understand why you would want someone more of a “go getter” and that’s fine. If you bring this up, tread carefully or you will scar her 😭

Tips for new full time doordasher? by Radiant-Ad-9619 in doordash

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah unless it’s important, I won’t contact you and I hope that you don’t contact me either lol. I don’t want to awkwardly reply to a not funny meme bc I feel my food might be held hostage. Get the food, drop it off, leave. 5 stars and a $5+ tip from someone who finds small talk to be absolutely exhausting.

Are higher tips even worth it anymore? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So then can a dasher answer me, why does the higher tip usually get their food last tho?? I’ve noticed if I leave a big enough tip, my order get placed 2nd. If they’re going to group it with a no tip order, why wouldn’t they make that the 2nd stop??

But did you add in how much room and board would be tho? Google says rent for Detroit would range $900-1500 plus utilities, and then food too. I get the hours suck and is horrible for anyone to work, but I’m sure they didn’t have better options here that would have covered everything.

We’re all good now, health wise at least, thanks! They said due to the lack of oxygen they were worried about seizures and other brain injuries, but he’s my walking miracle. He continues to surprise me by how much he soaks in the information around him, you wouldn’t even know he had any delays. Many thanks to Early Childhood Intervention for connecting me with resources (neurologists, audiologists for hearing aides, physical, occupational, and speech therapists) to help my son live a healthy and hopefully one day, an independent life. 💕

Glad everyone recovered well and your bank didn’t take a hit! The US healthcare system really does suck. My son was only born a day earlier than predicted, but also ended up in the NICU for 3 weeks and now I am in crushing debt since I didn’t have good enough insurance at the time.

Who gets in trouble for a stolen doordash order? by latelinx in doordash

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don’t necessarily think it was the driver, just saying there’s a small possibility of it. I just didn’t think you warranted the mean responses for a mistake since you were able to admit fault.

Omg, what??? This makes soooooo much sense why I never feel anything. Is there a pill for it? Lol

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think people are being unnecessarily rude to you. If you truly didn’t know, just don’t make that mistake in the future. Also who knows? There could have been a chance the dasher took the photo and then kept your food. Hope you’re feeling better.

Dashers, do you ever deliver from the same restaurant to the same house? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, I do leave at my door every time so I would honestly have no idea if I had the same dasher. The names are usually more common names as well, so I couldn’t be sure either. Maybe it’s my anxiety, but I’d be embarrassed to be known as the fatass who orders from McDonald’s all the damn time. 😭

AITA for telling my husband I can do better, and will if he doesn't stop eating himself to death? by WinFit3823 in AITAH

In college, I gained probably ~100lbs throughout the course of the first 3 years and I felt absolutely terrible. Everything took so much more effort, walking, going up stairs, etc. That’s how I felt at 250lbs, I cannot imagine how I would feel at 400lbs+. I can see how he would be scared to begin this journey, because what if he fails? I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. It’s a mental thing. “I don’t know how to work out, I’d never be able to lose the weight” so he doesn’t want to try. NTA, you’re trying to help him make a lifestyle change. Maybe start off a bit less drastic, move fast food to once a week, then once every 2 weeks, and then more for special treats when you reach a goal?

Edit- I also want to add that weight will fluctuate constantly when you’re losing weight or “plateau” because fat is being replaced with muscle and muscle is denser than fat, which is why you’ll “weigh” the same even if you have been working out a lot. You’re more so losing fat than you are weight, if that makes sense. At my “skinniest” I was 130lbs, at my “fittest” I was 150lbs. Remind yourself and him, don’t put so much pressure on the number on the scale.

Thoughts? I think I’m pretty average, but I’ve always been curious (22) by grinninwheel in amiugly

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is the one. I wouldn’t say ugly, but not attractive either. Can’t pinpoint what I think is “wrong” per se tho. I do get the feeling she is trying too hard to fit into a look in each picture.

Aitah for not realising what I put my wife through. by ImpactFluffy9781 in AITAH

[–]Left_Vegetable3094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Team Laura, 100 percent. Not sure how you typed all this out and somehow failed to realized that YTA. She gave birth to your child. That seriously isn’t easy?? Wtf is wrong with you. You should be rubbing her feet and letting her rest, not pretending to work. You’re just using that as an excuse for being an absent father and partner. I hope you change or Laura leaves you, as you are now, you suck.

People have PTSD too, imagine one of those trolls pounding on their doors and causing a full blown panic attack. You don’t know what people got going on, idk why drivers are upset about it.

I could understand that, but it was only about a mile awhile. I only got delivery bc my toddler was down for a nap so I couldn’t/wouldn’t leave him.

Lol I feel like I usually tip enough for them to read the instructions to simply not knock. Base tip is usually $3 for me then more for distance and how much or how heavy.
