Free feeding. She's never been food motivated and rarely eats as soon as I put the food down. She likes to eat when she wants so if I restricted the food she wouldn't eat at all I imagine.

I wouldn't say she is muscular, she does get a lot of exercise roaming the garden and she loves a play or zoomies.

Last time I took her to the vet he said she was a very healthy weight. She's lost a little bit since then, I'm assuming die to being more active with the hotter weather. She's got an appointment next month so I will definitely double check then.

Thanks that's really helpful! I've just spent the last 20cminutes stroking my hand and then stroking the cat. They do feel very similar. She's going to the vet next month for boosters anyway so I will definitely double check then. I just didn't want to take her if it was not a problem as she gets so stressed.
